| The CLV Connector has been developed to realize quick and reliable connections, especially for the splicing of high capacity cables. It realizes linear type splicing, with double connection system, using the IDC technology, and it reduces the space necessary in the closure’s interior.This connector is used for direct splices of conductors with diameters between 0,40 and 0,65 mm, with paper or plastic insulation. The connector supplied can be dry or impregnated, depending on the type of cable usedin the network.Its special design reduces the possibility of vibration problems and it is highly recommended for usage in underground splices, sealed or pressurized. Its connection method is extremely efficient and fast due to the special tools MA 10 and MRU 1, allowing a higher productivity and reliability on each one of its connections.
